Expanding U.S. presence with high-quality standards

TTE manufactures its transformers to meet the most stringent international standards, including IEEE, IEC, and ISO certifications (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018).

The company’s major foray into the U.S. market began in the late 2000s, when TTE secured contracts through competitive public tenders to supply transformers to the U.S. Department of Energy. These transformers were deployed in hydroelectric power plants operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers—a testament to TTE’s capability to deliver complete design, manufacture, and commissioning solutions. Today, these transformers remain fully operational, a symbol of the durability and reliability TTE products are known for.

Additionally, TTE has fostered a long-standing technology collaboration with European transformer specialist SGB-SMIT since 2011, ensuring that its technology remains cutting-edge.

Committed to growth and expansion

In line with its growth strategy, TTE has invested USD 30 million to enhance its production capabilities at its Argentina-based facility, doubling its annual capacity to 4000 MVA. This expansion positions TTE to manage larger volumes of orders and offer some of the most competitive delivery times in the industry—a critical advantage in today’s fast-paced electric market.
